Rachelle Kliewer

Rachelle Kliewer, LPC

As a clinician, my goal is to provide a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment. I believe therapy should be collaborative, building relationships through acceptance and authenticity. I strive to meet clients where they are and walk beside them in difficult times. We all experience difficult seasons at some point in our lives. These challenges do not define who we are, but rather provide opportunities for growth and reflection. The answers we look for are often within us, but therapy can help illuminate these solutions and help provide clarity during difficult times.

Based on my client’s needs and goals, I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). I also provide individual therapy to those who may be experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma; depression and mood disorders; anxiety, panic, worries and stress; grief and loss; adjustments to life changes; relational and family issues; self-esteem and negative self-image; anger; and adolescent emotional and behavior challenges.

Who am I?

I have a caring heart and enjoy creating a warm, safe environment for people of all walks of life to share their stories. I’m a good listener, will ask questions to understand, and can track people well. I believe you are created with the answers inside of you, and I will help clear the fog away so you can find them. Because therapy can be heavy, I try to maintain a balance between working through hard things and using humor to be light-hearted and keep perspective. I will encourage you to use the skills we’re working on, highlight your successes, and work myself out of a job!

Who are you?

You’re successful but you’ve experienced some kind of pain in life and want to set aside time to be intentional about healing. You have some level of awareness and want more. You are willing to take ownership of things even if it’s difficult, and you will work hard because you want to make a change. You come to therapy wanting to see or understand yourself better, and you’re simply wanting a therapist to help you – not get in the way.
